Due to the outstanding advantages of hydraulic transmission, almost all working devices of construction machinery are controlled by hydraulic transmission. Even the tower cranes that rarely used hydraulic technology in the past are now starting to use low-speed high-torque motors to drive the lifting, luffing, and slewing mechanisms of the crane.

 

①Application of hydraulic technology in steering system of construction machinery

Many construction machinery (such as loaders, etc.) use steering hydraulic cylinders to realize the steering control of the whole machine, and full hydraulic construction machinery (such as full hydraulic excavators, etc.) realize slip steering by controlling the speed of the drive motor of the inner and outer wheels. Even turning in place greatly improves the maneuverability and flexibility of the whole machine.

②Application of hydraulic technology in construction machinery walking system

Because the hydrostatic transmission has the advantages of stable aerodynamics under full load conditions, low power loss, easy forward and reverse conversion, stepless speed regulation, and large unit transmission power, it is widely used in construction machinery walking systems (such as full hydraulic loading machine, walking system of full hydraulic excavator, etc.).

③Application of hydraulic technology in brake system of construction machinery

Due to the quick action response and stable and reliable braking of the hydraulic brake, it has been widely used in the braking system of construction machinery.

 

At present, there are four kinds of control technologies for hydraulic systems in the field of construction machinery:
